I try out simple ideas
especially if cheap
and usually ideas
are the cheapest thing
in existence
As they get traded down
they get even cheaper,
but sometimes lose their value
as the copy is corrupted
the lesson lost
or relevancy unravels
from wearing thin.
Like anything, simple ideas
reduce, reuse, or recycle too!

Nature tries new,
over deep time
The world is in flux
and not nearly so predictable
our short lifespans allow
as mountains build
and ooze back to bottoms of oceans

leaving tracks of their passage
in rivers and valleys,
erosion leaving scar cities
and skree slopes and fields
on their weathered bodies
as boulders are eaten
by licks from distant oceans;

sowing the seeds
of oceans own buoyancy
as saltiness results
from all efforts toward
reducing, reusing, and recycling
the stuff houses are made of

Future dreamers will float in
ideas traded down
over deep time
in this world of flux-
of rivers and valleys-
from all effort toward
reduction, reuse, and recycling
