hatch from chrysalis
for nicer days
will not visit
to journey in
the path of life,
the streams of time.
Today is the present!

dried wings
will lift up
to greet suns
shining in peaceful breezes
for Earth is host
to 10,000 things
with many agreeable
if one keeps looking

wake from mind control,
free your mind
and your ass will follow.
Though drugs and tv
are a great escape,
life begins out there
among the weird and strange
awkward lessons of life
you won't know
unless you talk with people
and seek adventure for yourself.

Feeling unawkward peace
takes time and patience
in economy of thought
not to get wrapped up in worry.
Listen to your body
and feed it the things it needs.
You're a Soul with a body
and so have to take care
of Hunger, and Anger
Loneliness, and Tiredness

Most everything
is scarce
YOU Are the most precious gift
do not sell yourself cheaply
as Rumi confides,
but exact your wages of fun
from existence, I confide,
without the hurting of others

Minutes of life
to journey in
with many agreeable
among the weird and the strange.
